iShares Lehman 1-3 Year Credit Bond Fund (the Fund) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield performance of the United States investment-grade credit sector of the bond market as defined by the Lehman Brothers 1-3 Year U.S. Credit Index (the Index). The Index measures the performance of investment-grade corporate debt and sovereign, local authority and non-United States agency bonds that are United States dollar denominated. The Index includes investment grade United States credit securities that have a remaining maturity of greater than or equal to 1 year and less than 3 years, and have more than $250 million or more of outstanding face value. The Fund invests in a representative sample of the securities included in the Index that collectively has an investment profile similar to the Index.
