Boyd Gaming Corporation is a multi-jurisdictional gaming company. As of December 31, 2007, the Company wholly owned and operated 15 casino entertainment facilities located in eight distinct gaming markets in five states. As of December 31, 2007, it owned an aggregate of approximately 817,000 square feet of casino space, containing approximately 23,000 slot machines, 500 table games and 7,300 hotel rooms. Boyd Gaming Corporation derives the majority of its gross revenues from its gaming operations, which produced approximately 75% of gross revenue during the year ended December 31, 2007. Food and beverage gross revenue, which produced approximately 12% of gross revenues, during 2007, represent the only other revenue source, which produced more than 10% of gross revenue during 2007. On February 27, 2007, the Company completed its exchange transaction with Harrah's Operating Company, Inc., a subsidiary of Harrah's Entertainment, Inc. (Harrah's).
